DAY 1   

Departure is from P E Airport / hotel around Mid-day. Transfer to Addo Elephant Park. Enjoy an afternoon Game Drive. We spend an unforgettable time in the park  teeming with wildlife. Addo offers viewing of some of Africa's most impressive animals, including elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, leopard, kudu, a great variety of other antelope species, as well as birds, plants, insects and reptiles. Optional Night Drive is available. Accommodation is in the Addo Rest Camp chalets or nearby Private Lodge. Dinner is included tonight.

DAY 2  

Early morning Game Drive. After breakfast we take the road  towards the Garden Route. Following the coastal road winding its way along river gorges, over breathtaking mountain passes and through dense indigenous forests. Our exploration of this ancient forest includes a drive through Natures Valley, which winds its way through the tangle of trees, ferns and creepers to massive Outeniqua Yellowwood trees.

En route guests may choose between a visit to Monkeyland or the Birds Of Eden. We pass through Plettenberg Bay to Knysna. Here guests may enjoy  an optional yacht or  boat sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Accommodation is in the Knysna Quays.

DAY 3

After breakfast we visit the Knysna Forest in the Outeniqua mountains. Enjoy a short hike in the forest before heading down to the beach for a swim and lunch. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as Whale Watching or the popular Knysna Township Trail.  Guests will be able to enjoy a typical South African barbeque at the Knysna Yacht Club.

DAY 4  

After Breakfast there is time for a look at the arts and crafts market before we depart for Oudtshoorn. Our first stop is the Cango Caves. In the late afternoon experience the Cango Ostrich Ranch. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.

DAY 5 

We continue driving along the Route 62.  The drive takes us through some wonderful mountain scenery until we reach the Cape Wine-lands. Enjoy a stop for lunch and a wine tasting before checking in to our accommodation which is situated on a wine farm. Enjoy a sunset walk amongst the vineyards.  Dinner is included tonight.

DAY 6  

We visit Stellenbosch in the morning where guests are taken on a tour of a wine cellar and enjoy a wine tasting. We stop at Spier Estate for an optional picnic lunch on the river bank. Continue on to Cape Town. Accommodation is in the heart of the V&A waterfront. The evening is free to Explore the Waterfront.

 DAY 7

Tour of the Cape of Good Hope. A visit to Cape of Good Hope will reward you with the opportunity to witness the meeting of the mighty Atlantic & Indian Oceans. Wonderful mountainous scenery is coupled with quaint seaside villages such as Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek. 

The penguin colony at Sea-forth always proves to be a lot of fun. The next stop is Cape Point where guests can enjoy a lunch or take a short hike to the Cape of Good Hope. The return journey takes you along the scenic Atlantic Village of Scarborough and Kommetjie.

The evening is free for you to Explore the Waterfront.

DAY 8  

The morning is free to explore the Waterfront or an optional visit to Robben Island or Table Mountain. In the early afternoon guests are dropped of at Cape Town Airport or, for those that choose to spend more time in Cape Town, we will drop you off at your hotel.

Seven nights in 3/4 star accommodation with breakfasts. All transportation and driver. Dinners on Day 1, 3 & 5. Lunch on Days 5 & 7. Airport transfers. Entrance fees to Monkeyland or Birds of Eden, Cango Caves & Ostrich Ranch, 2 wine tastings and a cellar tour,  entrance to Cape of Good Hope and the penguin colony.

TRAVEL TIPS:

You will need to fly to Port Elizabeth. If your international flight is a Star Alliance or British Airways flight you can get an extension ticket. There are also low cost carriers on this route: See Kulula, Mango and Safair.

SELF DRIVE:

Included: Accommodation only (3/4 star or National Park Rest Camps) with breakfasts on Day 3-8. Booking fees.

Excluded: Car Rental (See Rates Here)  fuel, tolls, conservation and entry fees.
