DAY 1   Departure is from Port Elizabeth Airport or hotel at around 12h00. Transfer to Amakhala Private Game Reserve.  En Route we make a stop for lunch. Enjoy a late afternoon Game Drive. We spend an unforgettable time in the reserve  teeming with wildlife. Amakhala offers viewing of some of Africa's most impressive animals, including elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, kudu, a great variety of other antelope species, as well as birds, plants, insects and reptiles.

Accommodation is at Bukela or Hlosi Private Game Lodge. An exciting Sunset Game Drive and dinner is included tonight.

DAY 2  Up early for a morning Game Drive. After breakfast we take the road West towards the Garden Route. We follow the coastal road winding its way along river gorges, over breathtaking mountain passes and through dense indigenous forests. Our exploration of this ancient forest includes a walk, which winds its way through the tangle of trees, ferns and creepers to a massive Outeniqua Yellowwood, over 850 years old. We visit Nature's Valley, a tiny coastal settlement more than half-buried beneath towering forests. En route guests may choose between a visit to Monkeyland or the Birds Of Eden. Drive via Natures Valley to  Plettenberg Bay.

Accommodation option is the Robberg Beach Lodge. Free for Dinner

DAY 3 After breakfast we visit the Knysna Forest in the Outeniqua mountains. Enjoy a short hike in the forest. We then head down to the beach for a swim and lunch. Other options include a visit to Robberg Nature Reserve where you can see an ancient Khoisan cave dwelling dating back thousands of years. Another option is to take a boat-ride to sea and view whales and dolphins from close quarters. The afternoon is spent cruising up the Keurbooms River. Free for dinner.

DAY 4  After Breakfast there is time for a look at the arts and crafts at the Knysna Waterfront. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. After lunch we depart for Oudtshoorn. Our first stop is the Cango Caves.  Experience a guided tour through these ancient, exquisite caverns filled with incredible formations.

Overnight at the Buffelsdrift Private Game Reserve. An evening game drive and dinner is included tonight

DAY 5  Our first stop this morning is an Ostrich Show Farm where we are shown the development of these great flightless birds from the one kilogram egg to the 100 kilogram adult. Guests are given an opportunity to ride an Ostrich.

We continue driving along the Route 62. A lunch stop will be made at Barrydale. The drive takes us through some wonderful mountain scenery until we reach the Cape Winelands. Enjoy a wine tasting before checking in to our accommodation which is situated on a wine farm.

Accomodation is at Hawksmoor House or Val Du Charron. Free for Dinner.

DAY 6  Continue on to Cape Town. The tour will take you to Table Mountain and some time is set aside to explore the City and V&A Waterfront. Here guests have some time to take an optional boat cruise, visit the aquarium or explore the many arts and craft markets. In the late afternoon we check into the Three Boutique Hotel or the Hyde Hotel.  Free for dinner.

DAY 7  Drive down to Cape Point and visit the meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean. We also visit the Penguin Colony and Hout Bay where you may take an optional boat ride to Seal Island. Free for Dinner.

DAY 8  After breakfast and hotel checkout we drive to the V&A Waterfront where you may explore the Waterfront or take an optional visit to Robben Island. Upon request, guests may be taken to Canal Walk - the largest Shopping Mall in Africa. In the early afternoon guests are dropped of at Cape Town international Airport OR for those that choose to spend more time in Cape Town, we will drop you off at your hotel.
