The Tour Begins in Cape Town and ends at George Airport. From George you have an option of reaching your next destination by Air, Luxury air-con Coach or a Private Road Transfer. Accommodation is in 3 or 4 star Guest Houses, Lodges or Apartments and includes daily breakfast.  Dinners and lunches are included as per itinerary.

 

DAY 1 

Arrival at Cape Town International Airport. After Hotel check-in, guests are taken to the V&A Waterfront. Here you may enjoy some optional activities such as: Robben Island tour; Table Mountain; boat cruises; the Two Oceans Aquarium and some of the many shops and restaurants. Free for Asian  Dinner at the Waterfront. Guests are then dropped off at their hotel at around 21h00.

 

DAY  2  (Breakfast + Lunch)

After breakfast join the tour of the Cape of Good Hope. The tour departs at 08h30. A visit to Cape Point will reward you with the opportunity to witness the meeting of the mighty Atlantic & Indian Oceans. Wonderful mountainous scenery is coupled with quaint seaside villages such as Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek. 

The first stop is Cape Point where guests can take a short hike to the Cape of Good Hope. The Penguin Colony at Sea-forth always proves to be a lot of fun. For lunch, fish & chips and salad will be served next to the ocean. The return journey takes you along the scenic Chapmans Peak Pass and Hout Bay.

We go on a boat cruise to Seal Island to get up close to hundreds of Cape Fur Seals. The evening is free for you to Explore the Waterfront.

In the evening guests are taken to a traditional Cape Malay or similar Eastern Restaurant.

Day 3   (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner )

After breakfast we head to the Cape Winelands. We stop to visit  a wine estate  and do a wine or juice tasting.

Transfer via the beautiful Breede River Valley to a Private Game Reserve approximately two  hours drive from the winelands. Enjoy a buffet lunch at the Game Lodge. The afternoon can be spent relaxing or visiting the wildlife rehabilitation centre. In the late afternoon we enjoy a game drive in an open 4X4 vehicle to look for the  Big Five. Buffet Dinner at the Lodge.

 

DAY 4  (Breakfast)   

The day starts early with a another Big 5 Game Drive followed by breakfast. We then depart for Oudtshoorn, undisputed "ostrich capital" of the world. Our itinerary includes a visit to a fascinating Ostrich Show Farm where, amidst enormous flocks of these strange birds, we are shown their development from the egg to the 100 kg adult.  Overnight in Oudtshoorn.

 

DAY 5  (Breakfast + Dinner)  

After breakfast you will  visit one of the great wonders of Africa - the subterranean wonderland of Cango Caves for a tour of this vast sequence of caverns, each filled with astonishing formations of glittering stalagmites and stalactites.

We  journey to Knysna via the Wilderness. Arriving in  Knysna, there is time to discover the craftsmen, who have settled in the area from every corner of South Africa. This region has a tremendous range of arts and crafts. Visit the Knysna Heads where the mighty Indian Ocean rushes in and out of the Knysna Lagoon.

Wind up the day with an optional Lagoon Sunset Cruise. There are a number of options including luxury Yachts and Ferries.  This evening guests are invited to the Knysna Yacht Club for a Barbeque (Braai). Overnight in Knysna.

 

Day 6  (Breakfast )

After breakfast we head down to Mossel Bay. Enjoy an optional boat ride out to Seal Island to view Seals, Whales and sometimes the Great White Shark. We also explore the Diaz Museum. After an opportunity to do some last minute shopping guests can enjoy lunch at the seaside.

We drop off our guests in the early afternoon at George Airport for your onward flight or coach/road transport to Cape Town or Port Elizabeth.

This tour can begin in George and end in Cape Town with slight changes to the itinerary.

 

Included in the Price: Accommodation with breakfasts. Two  dinners on days 3 & 5. Lunches on days 2 & 3. Visits to the Cape Point and the Penguin Colony, Cango Caves and Ostrich Ranch. Seal Island boat Cruise at Hout Bay. 1 wine tasting in the Wine-lands. Two Big 5 Game Drives, all transfers, ground transportation and Chauffer Driver. Entry fees to Diaz museum.
